As summer comes to an end, we are looking forward to Fall and the food festivals it will bring. So long to oversized ice creams, extravagant burgers and our favorite summer spritz. But there is no need to mourn the loss of sunny days and barbecues because it’s time to bring on the warm, hearty flavors of fall…

Off the Hook Seafood Festival (Santa Monica)

On October 14th, sink your teeth into tons of seafood on Santa Monica Pier to benefit the Surfrider Foundation of West LA-Malibu. Infamous seafood restaurants from all around LA including Herringbone participate in this event by supplying delicious bites and battling in the Oyster Shucking competition. Pizza and Beer Festival (Downtown LA)

Not that you’d need any more convincing after learning the title of this festival, but this November, sink your teeth into one of the world’s best combinations – pizza and beer. On November 4th, Downtown LA hosts top pizzerias and food trucks ready to serve up their best slice to festival-goers. 3oz. pours from local and regional breweries as well as pizza tastings from each food vendor are included with your ticket, and merchandise is available for purchase in between bites.

Taste of Italy (Downtown LA)

Everyone will feel a part of one big Italian family this October as the Italian Heritage Museum hosts its annual Taste of Italy event. A ticket includes six tastings and beverages of your choice out of the 40 plus vendors. Italian restaurants, food trucks, wine distributors and chefs meet one evening to celebrate all things Italy. You won’t want to miss this night of cheese, pasta, and wine – what more could you want? October 13th is looking like quite the lucky day this year!
